The youth programme is very important to Tuam Golf Club as it is essential that our younger golfers are given the appropriate guidance in all aspects of the game.
The club welcomes young and enthusiastic members and during the course of the years, particularly during the summer months, coaching is provided under the auspices of our youth committee.
Of course, out resident professional Larry Smyth is also on hand to provide coaching tips on a regular basis and the youth will always receive a warm welcome at Tuam Golf Club.
One of the success stories is the Thursday morning get together which happens on a regular basis from the beginning of June to the end of August.
The younger golfers are looked after by some of the older members, they are brought onto the course in a supervised capacity and participate in competitions.
