We have two of the clubs Majors being played in the coming weeks.

Oliver Curley is holding his Presidents Prize on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th of June. It will be an 18 hole stroke round with the top 27 scores qualifying for a final 9 holes. Put you name on the time sheet in the hallway in the time slot you wish to play in and a draw for partners will be made on Thursday 22nd June @ 7.30pm

The Lady Captains Prize to the men is on Saturday July 1st

Ladies..the sheet for Lady Captains is in the locker room. Sunday July 2nd is the date, The format is 18 holes stroke with a final 9 holes for the best 21 scores and ties,.The draw for partners will be made on Thursday 29th June @ 7.30pm.
There will be a 9 hole stableford competition for ladies unable to or unused to playing 18 holes stroke. The sheet for the summer matchplay is also in the locker room. This is a scotch foursomes format with a draw for ‘high/low’ partners

The LOTTO is now €12,000. Last weeks numbers were 15,25,28 & 31. The lucky dip winners were Breege Finnerty, Sarita Glynn & Tina Halloran. Contact any club member about buying a ticket.

Commiserations to the Jimmy Bruen team who narrowly lost to Galway Bay in extra holes and to the ladies intermediate team who lost to Gort in the area quarter final at the weekend.,

The course is shaping up well and the greens are good, we would like to urge members to continue to repair pitch marks, replace divots and rake bunkers. Remember a pitch mark repaired within 10 minutes of being created will fully recover in 3 days.
