Entry sheets are now up for our SINGLES, FOURBALL BETTERBALL, and MIXED FOURBALL CLUBATCHPLAYS. Closing date for entry is April 20th.

Saturday Club
The final outing of the Saturday Club’s season took place at Athlone Golf Club (Hodson Bay) and there was a great attendance for Captain Gerry Cunningham’s last event at the helm. He has been a hugely popular and pro-active Captain.
The weather was great, hence the large gathering, and the scoring was really hot with Niall Pierce shooting the lights out by returning an incredible 50 points. This was a record score for the Saturday Club by a long way.
Tom McHugh’s 43 points would have won the event on any other day but it was Niall’s incredible ball striking that stood out on the occasion.
The Saturday Club would like to thank all of the loyal members who turned out every weekend for the competition and no doubt it will continue successfully into the future.
Next season’s Captain will be John Ger Davin who has a long association with the Saturday Club and, indeed, Tuam Golf Club over the years. Best of luck to him in his new role which will commence in the autumn.
