Mens results 1/10/23
Despite Saturday’s poor weather we had a large turnout for our weekend competition sponsored by Arachas Insurance. The overall winner is Charlie O’Brien (18) with 42 pts. There were four categories and the winners are: 0-9: John Bodkin (9) 41 pts 10-16: Karl Powderly (16) 41 pts. 17-23: Nelius Buckley (21) 39 pts. 24+: Jerry Desmond (24) 39 pts b/d.

Next weekend’s competition is sponsored by Duffy’s Pharmacy and once again we will have an overall winner and the same four categories.

Winter League
The popular winter league will start on the weekend ending 12th November. As usual it will be teams of 3 with just 1 score to count each weekend. One major difference this year is that the teams will be picked by the tournament directors and it is hoped to have a low, middle and high handicap player on each team. The entry sheet for the competition will be in the men’s locker-room this week….

Lotto
There were no winners of our lotto jackpot worth €4,800. Numbers drawn were 3, 11, 16, 17. Congratulations to D & K O’Shaughnessy who were our lucky dip winners.
